Meet Elizabeth Spence
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner focused on helping people cope with mental health issue with an integrated, holistic approach
Dealing with mental health issues can be scary. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner with 17 years of healthcare experience. I work with patients to help address their mental health issues with a whole-person approach to help take the fear out of getting help. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or any other type of mental health issue, I offer a compassionate, open, and accepting environment to help you deal with any issues you might be having.
I offer care to patients with all mental health issues but specialize in PTSD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I holistically approach care, treating the whole person, not just their mental health issues. The holistic approach includes lifestyle changes, meditation, mindfulness, and medication management if necessary.
Mental health care does not need to be scary, learning how to approach care can make all the difference. My approach includes empathy, understanding, and acceptance no matter how big or small the need.

My philosophy
I believe that every patient has unique attributes and experiences that have formed them into the person they are. Everyone is unique and the treatment and care I provide are unique to that person. My patients are an integral part of their plan of care and we work together to determine how they want to address their care. My goal is to get to know each patient as an individual and work together to create a plan that works for the patient to reach their individual goals for healing. I believe that the patient is the most important factor in any care provided. The care plan and approach are determined by their wants and needs.
