I am a board certified psychiatric and mental health provider and a compassionate clinician with over 14 years of experience giving care inpatient at major New York City private and public hospitals; as well as outpatient within large behavioral healthcare networks. I specialize in treating marginalized populations; including at risk youths, domestic violence victims, low-income immigrants, and individuals with forensic histories.
I am an accomplished scholar with two bachelor degrees (in Business Administration and Nursing Sciences), two master degrees (in Library Sciences and Psychiatry/Mental Health), and a Doctorate in Psychiatry/Mental Health. I have also held clinical assistant professor positions within graduate programs at City University of New York (CUNY) and State University of New York (SUNY).
