From Surviving to Thriving: Healing Families, Transforming Futures
Wings of the Future, NFP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families heal from trauma and transform into functional, thriving family systems. Founded in 2016 by Licensed Clinical Social Worker Krystal Boothe, the organization grew out of her work with families involved in child protective services and has since expanded its reach to address the wider social and emotional challenges faced by vulnerable communities.
At its core, Wings of the Future believes that healing begins with understanding. The organization provides community psychoeducation to raise awareness about the deep connection between attachment trauma, domestic violence, addiction, and dysfunctional family dynamics. By equipping individuals with this knowledge.

My philosophy
At Wings of the Future, NFP, our treatment combines trauma-informed care, neuroscience, and faith-based principles to bring holistic healing to individuals and families. We help clients understand how trauma shapes the brain and nervous system, then guide them through self-empathy practices to release stress, rewire limiting beliefs, and restore emotional balance. Because trauma often arises in relationships, we emphasize attachment repair, boundary-setting, and safe connection, while also providing practical social support such as housing, food, and job readiness to stabilize external needs. For those who desire it, we integrate spiritual insights to anchor healing in faith and purpose. Our ultimate goal is not only recovery from trauma but empowerment, helping clients redesign life.
