Hello, I'm Rita Uduma. I bring over 20 years of dedicated nursing experience, passionately caring for patients in various settings including rehab hospitals, psychiatric clinics, and skilled nursing facilities.
I'm a Charge Nurse at Briarcliff Nursing and Rehab Center in Tyler, TX. Here, I oversee medication administration, patient continued assessment and monitoring, and ensure that controlled medicines are used safely. My work also focuses on caring for those with Alzheimer's, dementia, and behavioral challenges.
Earlier in my career, my role at UT Health East Texas involved managing patient care after surgeries, administering medications, and coordinating with healthcare teams to adjust treatment plans.

She assesses, evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of mental health disorders, including ADHD, Anxiety disorders, Mood disorders, and Personality disorders. I also include comprehensive assessment, medication management, and psychotherapy to achieve a better mental health outcome.
