Meet Peace Banks
Compassionate Mental Health provider experienced in providing individualized, evidenced-based treatment.
Hello! I'm Dr. Peace I. Banks, a dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a passion for guiding individuals towards better mental wellness. With over ten years of specialized experience in mental health and a solid foundation of eighteen years as a registered nurse, my mission is simple: to help you find stability and peace of mind on your journey to mental health.
I proudly hold a Doctor in Nursing Practice degree from Aspen University, which equips me with the latest in evidence-based research to empower our community and beyond. My background includes extensive telehealth services through my practice at PeaceHaven Behavioral Center, where I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for clients aged 13 and up.
In addition to my private practice, I serve the MHMR of Tarrant County, where I work with underserved individuals 17 and older, responding to crises and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, including substance use treatment.
My experience spans various settings, from intensive care and surgical units to emergency mental health care, always with a focus on compassionate patient care. As an educator and mentor to graduate students and 4th year nursing students, I'm committed to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Your mental health is my top priority, and I'm here to support you with personalized care tailored to your unique needs. Let's work together towards a healthier, happier you.
