Admit, perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluation/assessment, diagnose, formulate a treatment plan,  prescribe medication, follow-up with the patients daily, and collaborate with other interdisciplinary groups on the care of acute mentally ill patients admitted involuntary hold from admission to discharge. Ensure patient discharge planning includes safe transfer back to the community in collaboration with the hospital case managers and social worker.

PMHNP-BC

-Provide virtual outpatient care for clients in the comfort of their homes.
-Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, formulate a diagnosis treatment plan, prescribe, write referrals as needed, on the initial assessment, and then follow up with the patient monthly for medication management and supportive psychotherapy.  
-Refer patients for acute psychiatric hospitalization as needed for patients in crisis and follow-up as needed. 
-Provide psychiatric care for patients with diagnoses such as psychotic dx schizophrenias'; mood disorders, including depression and bipolar, All types of anxieties, and ADHD for initial assessment and medication management. 

Provide Clinical RN duties, Charge Nurse, and perform a psychiatric evaluation for voluntary and involuntary holds in the Emergency Department and behavior health unit, writing holds and admitting patients with psychiatrist orders.
