I provide psychiatric assessment and treatment for individuals of all ages in person and via telehealth. Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, administration of medications, and order laboratory tests as needed. Conduct psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. Documentation of clinical notes and treatment plans using an electronic health records system.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment for individuals of all ages in person and via telehealth. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, such as case managers, therapists, community resources, and the Department of Arizona when indicated. Conduct psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. Documentation of clinical notes and treatment plans using an electronic health records system.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner 

An initial visit with a provider involves a medical history review, an assessment of your specific symptoms and concerns, and possible diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient's health, identify issues, and develop and discuss treatment options.

Initial Visit

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Follow-up Visit

A prescription service appointment with a provider typically involves a brief review of his/her existing patient's medical history, confirming the need for the prescription service, and issuing a new prescription. It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.

Prescription service

An opportunity for potential patients to discuss their concerns or needs with a provider, or therapist, to determine if their services are a good fit and to receive initial advice or guidance.
