This is an inpatient short term hospitalization to help patients in crisis. We would give individuals skills to cope with a variety of psychiatric symptoms to include symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts and emotional pain.

Texas is one of the few states that still has large psychiatric institutions. Despite the poor press these institution have, the families of these patients fight to keep these places open. In most states these institutions have shut down and many of the patients end up living on the street. We provided high quality care to cognitively impaired and dual diagnosed clients in a long term residential setting.

I started my career as an Army Medic. I feel like I have benefited more from this experience than I gave to my country. I wish I could say that for every veteran. The truth of the matter is that the suicide rate is much higher in veteran. Many veterans experience mental illness that goes untreated or undertreated. My goal is to give these soldier the tools they need to successful in work, relationships, and life. 

Medic

An initial visit with a provider involves a medical history review, an assessment of your specific symptoms and concerns, and possible diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient's health, identify issues, and develop and discuss treatment options.

Initial Visit

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Follow-up Visit

A prescription service appointment with a provider typically involves a brief review of his/her existing patient's medical history, confirming the need for the prescription service, and issuing a new prescription. It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.

Prescription service

An opportunity for potential patients to discuss their concerns or needs with a provider, or therapist, to determine if their services are a good fit and to receive initial advice or guidance. Many providers offer free or very affordable consultation services with potential patient leads. Providers who add Free consultation as a service receives 2-3 times more prospects.
