I currently work as a part of a team caring for geriatric population and their families. I see routine wellness checks, acute visits, palliative care and end of life management. Nurse Practitioner

I worked as a nurse practitioner, alongside a wonderful team of pulmonary and critical care physicians. I would rotate where the need was and saw patients in a routine, outpatient office setting for pulmonary care and acute visits. I saw pulmonary and critical care patients in an inpatient hospital setting. I was the midlevel provider in a 24-bed ICU/CCU. I saw patients in the sleep lab manage sleep conditions such as sleep apnea and insomnia. This was all throughout the pandemic.

I worked for several years as a bedside RN in the Medical ICU. I then joined their Adult STAT team, where I responded to medical emergencies and codes throughout a level one trauma center. I was on the stroke team, maintaining data with regards to time a stroke patient entered the ED to the care that was given, as this is a small time-window available for treatment.

I worked as a bedside RN in a combined ICU/CCU. I was on many committees, helping the hospital develop protocols for SEPSIS and CRRT.

An opportunity for potential patients to discuss their concerns or needs with a provider, or therapist, to determine if their services are a good fit and to receive initial advice or guidance. Many providers offer free or very affordable consultation services with potential patient leads. Providers who add Free consultation as a service receives 2-3 times more prospects.
