Founder, Chief Clinical Officer

At Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, I work within the Sound Physicians group to triage, admit, and manage acutely and critically ill inpatients within a 347-bed hospital. 
My team and I manage significant illnesses every day as members of an interdisciplinary health team.

Hospitalist

I worked for over a year on the east-end on Long Island, serving the residents of The Hamptons and beyond in management of their acute and chronic medical problems. While there, I subcontracted at an inpatient addiction rehabilitation facility (Seafield Center) where I provided solo practitioner coverage for management of approximately 100 patients on a regular basis, managing acute withdrawal and/or transition to a regimen for opioid, alcohol, or other substance use disorders.

Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

While working at NY Family Docs, our practice was deeply woven in the fabric of urban Jamaica, Queens.
I served a very diverse community including a strong hispanic-latino population in management of their acute/chronic medical problems, and also treated children. 

Family Nurse Practitioner

While working for Northwell Health, New York's largest regional health system, I served as a registered nurse in medical-surgical and intensive care settings including the cardiothoracic, medical, surgical, and neuro ICU.
I provided direct patient care to acutely and critically ill patients with experience immediately following major surgery, including open and minimally invasive heart surgery. 
Here, I gained vast experience in assessing, monitoring, and treating hospital inpatients.

Registered Nurse

Prior to becoming a nurse, and while in nursing school, I served at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer center in an administrative role during which I worked with patients undergoing cancer treatment daily, assisting in coordination of care, primarily arranging diagnostic radiology testing amongst an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, technologists, and other administrators.

An initial visit with a provider typically includes a medical history review, an assessment of your specific symptoms and concerns, and a treatment plan.

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or managing side-effects of the treatment plan.  

Diagnosis, management, and treatment of mental health disorders through medication-focused treatments, delivering personalized medication strategies to enhance patients' mental well-being.

Provides a structured approach to weight loss through the use of approved medications alongside lifestyle change.

An initial visit to discuss weight loss goals, review medical history, and evaluate prescription options for your treatment plan, including medications like Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound, and compounded Semaglutide.
