My name is Dr. Sandy Sahadeo, MD-PMHNP. With over 18 years of experience, my expertise includes children, adults, and the geriatric population struggling with mental health to examine all aspects of the individual. My approach addresses psychological, spiritual, social, and biological factors. I aim to fully understand each person's unique challenges and facilitate healing through a multi-disciplinary approach.
Some of my practice's most used theoretical approaches include biological, psychodynamic, behavioral, and cognitive. My integrative psychiatry approach uses medications, therapy, and complementary medicine. My patient population ranges from children (4-12 years), adolescents (13-18 years), young adults (19-44 years), middle-aged adults (45-64 years), older adults (65+ years), and very elderly (85+ years). Some conditions are not limited to treatment for Major Depression, Anxiety, Autism, Eating Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Trauma/PTSD, and Personality Disorders.
