She started her career as a Registered Nurse. She received her Bachelors in Nursing from UMDNJ and began working with the addiction population. After seeing the need for psychiatry service was growing, Vaishali pursued her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psych Mental Health. Vaishali obtained her DNP from Rutgers University and graduated with Honors.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Vaishali has experience working with various Mental Health Disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD and many more. Vaishali has worked in different settings, including detox facilities, nursing homes, and Autistic/ developmentally disabled day programs. Her main approach is building a therapeutic relationship with her patients. Vaishali has worked in the field of Mental Health for 12 years.
