I am Timothy Dunams, a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of experience in providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
What sets me apart from other providers is my holistic approach, using medicine, nutrition and exercise to help you lose weight and create a lifestyle that helps you be the best version of you!
My program includes: Self Guided Lifestyle Training Modules, and Group Coaching Sessions weekly so that we can build community and build a lifestyle to keep the weight off for good!
My aim is to ensure every patient receives the highest quality of care, tailored to their unique needs.
My education includes a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati with concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University where I was also part of the Honors College. I am also a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings, from urgent care to home health and critical care teams. At Nao Medical, I provide care in a fast-paced environment, managing acute and chronic conditions while performing multiple procedures. At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, I collaborate with surgical teams to care for patients undergoing oncological surgeries. Additionally, I serve as an adjunct faculty member at New York University, instructing nursing students.
