I am the lead practitioner at A Better Outlook Psychiatry & Addiction. I am a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a dual Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in the states of Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming. I have a collaborative practice agreement in Texas with I. Ogbonna, MD, and may consult with her about your care.
I have over 25 years of medical experience beginning as a combat medic in the military and then as a paramedic in the "civilian" world. I completed my Masters of Business Administration in Accounting & Finance in 2007 and my Masters of Applied Clinical Psychology from San Angelo State University in 2018. I then completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018 and my Masters of Science in Nursing in 2022 as an Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP0. I then completed my Doctor of Nursing (DNP) at Arkansas State University in 2024. I have also worked as a police officer for over 10 years as a Mental Health Peace Officer and Investigative Hypnotist.
