I am Ashley Schivelbein, a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with a heart for helping individuals navigate their health journeys. With a Master’s in Family Health Nursing from Boston College and a solid foundation in Psychobiology from Simmons College, I am well-equipped to care for patients ages 18 and older. I specialize in direct primary care, medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy and mental health.
My journey in healthcare spans over a decade, and I've honed my skills across various specialties including interventional pain management, endocrinology, and primary care. At Formoso Spine & Joint Pain Specialists, I focus on easing the burden of chronic pain through personalized treatment plans and education. Prior to this, I served at the prestigious Mayo Clinic where I supported patients with complex endocrine disorders, specializing in diabetes and thyroid disease, managing their treatments with empathy and expertise.
I believe in holistic patient care, which is why during my time at Southside Family Medical Center, I provided comprehensive services that ranged from managing chronic illnesses to offering health counseling. My experience also includes groundbreaking research coordination at The Joslin Diabetes Center and nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals through preceptorships at Jacksonville University.
